Accessing Counseling & Medical Services
Chadron State College offers counseling and medical services to all students, free of additional charge. To schedule an appointment with a Counselor please call 308-432-6232. You may also schedule directly with a counselor in their bio below. Students are welcome to walk in for health services but must understand that a professional may not be available in the immediate. If it is your first visit, please see the information below.

Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Nurse Hours - while classes are in session
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

- Mental health
- Stress management
The CSC Campus Clinic Nurse provides treatments including
- Albuterol treatments
- Glucometer checks
- Medical equipment loans (crutches, ice/hot packs, wheelchair, etc.)
- Over-the-counter medications
- Pregnancy tests
- Scheduling of doctor appointments when necessary
- Staple and suture removal
- Testing for COVID, Fever, Influenza, Mono, & Strep
- Treatments for minor illnesses and injuries
The Medical Assistant provides treatments including
- Follow-up care with students from the Nurse
- Information about local health resources
- Management of required CSC immunization records and health forms
- Scheduling of appointments with the Nurse and Counselors
