Application Deadlines
First-time students must begin in either the Fall or Spring Semester
- July 15th: Fall semester if you are not in the U.S. and still need to apply for an F-1 visa.
- August 17th: This deadline is for students who are in the U.S. and are transferring from a U.S. school.
- November 15th: Spring semester if you not in the U.S. and still need to apply for an F-1 visa.
- January 2nd: This deadline is for students who are in the U.S. and are transferring from a U.S. school.
Applications may be considered after the listed deadlines, but you are encouraged to apply as early as possible to allow sufficient time to secure a visa to enter the United States. The visa process can be a time intensive process.

Freshmen: Undergraduate On-Campus Bachelor's Degree-Seeking
Applicants who have completed, or are near completing high school, and are applying for admission to CSC as a first-time undergraduate (bachelor's) degree-seeking student under a U.S. non-immigrant F-1 student visa.
Applicants under the age of 17 may not reside in the campus residence halls. Students are encouraged to defer attendance until they reach the age of 17. Please contact the Office of International Education for further details.
How to apply as a Freshman (first-time college student)
Note: all of the following must be received by the Office of International Education BEFORE a student will be considered for full admission.Step 1: Fully complete and submit your online application. It is FREE to apply.

Step 2: High School and College Transcripts. Transcripts must be evaluated through one of the evaluating companies listed below. Transcripts should be sent directly from the evaluating company to Chadron State College to International@swissabc.net or Transcripts@swissabc.net

Step 3: Proof of English proficiency. International applicants whose first language is not English must present evidence of English proficiency. Applicants must provide ONE of the following: TOELF, IELTS, Duolingo, SAT or ACT. Test scores should be sent to International@swissabc.net
Step 4: Financial Declaration and Certification and Bank Statement. Please send to International@swissabc.net
Step 5: Health Services Requirements

Transfer: Undergraduate On-Campus Bachelor's Degree-Seeking
Applicants who have attempted at least 12 or more credit hours of course work at another U.S. and/or foreign university after graduating from high school and are applying to CSC for admission as an undergraduate (bachelor's) degree seeking student from another U.S. or foreign university under a U.S. non-immigrant F-1 student visa.

If the college credits that will be transferred to CSC are not from a U.S. institution, please arrange to have your official transcripts evaluated through one of the companies listed below. Graduate: On-Campus Degree-Seeking
Applicants who have completed a college or university undergraduate (bachelor's) degree equivalent to a 4-year bachelor's, regionally-accredited U.S. bachelor's degree and are applying to CSC for admission as a graduate (master's) degree seeking student under a U.S. non-immigrant F-1 student visa.
How to apply as an On-Campus Graduate
Note: all of the following must be received by the Office of International Education BEFORE a student will be considered for full admission.Currently, CSC only offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree for international students studying on campus.

Online Student: Bachelor's or Graduate
If you are planning to take courses from a location outside the United States via the internet, please be sure to select an application type of “International Online Student” when filling out the online application. Tips for Submitting your Application
To ensure timely processing of your application, please do the following:
- Use your full legal name on all documents.
- Make sure you use your full legal name, exactly as it appears on your passport.
- Make sure your name is spelled correctly and consistently on your application and all the supporting documents.
- Be sure to write your full legal name on all of your application materials (application fee, test scores, Financial Declaration and Certification, bank letter, academic records, etc.).
- Submit all application materials by the deadlines outlined above.
- Send all documents and communication to International@swissabc.net
- Please do not list a Post Office Box as your permanent foreign address.
- Provide us with an accurate email address.
- Use your full legal name on all documents.
